Sorry, I just like makin' games, and helping people make games. It's almost like I'm old, tired, and was an indie dev first.
I'm such a terrible social media iconoclast figurehead for a company because I'm just full of lukewarm takes that are hard to argue with and being excited about the work we're doing. Sorry.
There's few things more enjoyable honestly than figuring out what's the most interesting angle for coverage to hand to people who might want to write about your game. It obviously doesn't always produce coverage, but the success rate is so much higher when you highlight what's compelling.
The rework of how google handles placement has been so terrible not only for indies and the people who want to cover them, but for any kind of organic blog like someone's passion hobby blog. It sucks on so many levels, everyone's struggling to be noticed, but the deck is totally stacked.
