Wallow for the moment, but it's not constructive to catastrophize /2
Today sucks, but hope is not lost. So many fellow βͺs doomsdaying, giving unearned victories to R's (ex we won't have midterms for abc reasons). Our white fragility at the slightest bit of struggles when our black and brown neighbors have struggled for 100s of years is why we can't be trusted. /1
I wish I could make the trip out for this, so hopefully it does make the jump. On premise alone, this show is soooo up my alley.
Katharine is the best.. can't wait to dive into your episode.
This commission statement refers to people with Autism, ADHD, asthma, auto-immune disease, and chronic illness as a βdire threat to the American people and our way of lifeβ.
This is a manifesto against disability.
This is the language of eugenics.
Friday night is theater night. 9/52 #theaterbsky
One could argue that Swept Away also could be in this group, though it's less about post death than pre death.
Yep. It had some potential early on, but Ron is always going to Ron. These next two months are going to be even more painful to get through as his bitterness shows more and more.
the absolute professional she is to have committed so well to the drivel in today's ep.
I cannot think of anyone else more perfect to fill Joshua Boone's shoes. 100/10. #theatersky

Kicking off a month of supporting local theatre and continuing my quest to see 52 shows for the year. 8/52 #tonightsplaybill #theaterbsky
Stop yelling at Democrats and yell at Republicans. Call THEM, protest THEM, @ THEM.
Congressional Democrat cannot:
1. Arrest anyone.
2. Sue anyone.
3. Block Cabinet Picks.
4. Set the legislative agenda.
5. Set the scheduling.
Telling them to do things that they can't do only makes things worse.
I.con.ic. the whole cast ate but mother mothered.
6 shows,3 days,2 cities. This originally included Swept Away but had to pivot. Went with Hamilton instead for the 1st time in NY (have seen the tour a few times). YTD 7 shows, staying on pace for 52 for the year. Now to head home and see a bunch of local/regional shows until next time in the city.
This translates really well to stage. A bit frentic because it's the full S1 story condensed to a 2 1/2 hour musical but it worked for me. This cast was also pitch perfect.
What. A. Game.
We are the worldβs team.
The worldβs city.
My goodness what a blessing it is to have @PatrickMahomes in #KC.
On the field and off!

Took 3 1/2 weeks into the new yr to get to my first show. On a mission to get to at least 52 shows this year (+20% you). #theaterbsky
This is a great article about our special show. #theaterbsky

It's going to be a long fucking 4 years fighting propaganda and misinfo, and I'm already seeing folks I know with brains fall into immediate conspiracy theories that fit their confirmation bias without doing 30 seconds of reflection and research, taking memes and random semi-viral shit as fact.

save some smoke today for the reporters, pundits, and influencers who failed to convey the threat of Trumpism to their audiences and the voters who couldn't be bothered to make an informed choice last November
If I was Matt, of all people, I would probably not muse about where kids are gonna be spending their time.
if congress, who wrote the law requiring tiktok to divest, wanted to amend or reverse the law, they could. what biden did when signing a bill that had a veto proof majority is what the constitution required him of him, and there are a lot of people who do not appear to want you to remember that.
So painfully obvious to those of us with eyes and a modicum of intelligence and media literacy.
TT CEO posted a video to the official TT page saying he can't wait to work with the orange felon, and of course, otherwise reasonably minded folks on Twitter are blaming the Dems. I'm just waiting to see what Trump and China are each getting out of the clearly behind-doors collusion meet at MAL.
