They are really scared. It’s not just the presence you and the team have built the last few months, they feel they can spin against that, but they know the Green Party is a home for millions of voters on the left. Starmer has totally niched Labour into a corner… and he knows it.

Agree, I’m a Green convert from Labour, and I’m sure there’s a hell of a lot more like me that haven’t but could easily switch.
A vote split is a risk, but worse is sleepwalking through more of the same. There’s genuine momentum building, so Zak’s timing on this is perfect and weighted well.
Astute, grown-up politics, and could very well convince those unhappy with the current Labour position to turn Green.
And I obviously acknowledge this relates to his role as trade envoy, but there are other investigations ongoing regarding Epstein and Andrew, so it stands to reason much more will be uncovered outside of the US.
