absolutely! i love when people interpret my characters' designs the way they like best ♥️♥️♥️🔥 it makes it more personal!

it's way too easy to convince ourselves what we do is meaningless or stupid or bad when you grow up being led to think your interests/hobbies are silly or cringe or worthless. but we gotta work on being our biggest advocate against that grain

i feel this. my hypothesis is that being our own boss sometimes results in us being needlessly mean to ourselves, since the idea of a nice accepting boss who is proud of you all the time is confusing to us/seems too good to be true in this capitalistic world. so we harsh the pride out of ourselves

haha yeah i started drawing just a plain tapered tail for simplicity sake in more recent art! i don't mind art with the tail fan/spines at all though, that is still a valid version of peepo and i like it; i just personally prefer not drawing them myself lately 🙂‍↕️
