Everyone in the park knew what he was doing but it didn't matter, the batter still bunted and Rizzo still fielded the ball
I remember someone on the opposing team complained about him using his 1st baseman glove when he crashed the plate doing this and the umps made him swap gloves. From that point on I always remember him swapping gloves mid game to do this & then after that batter getting his original glove back.
He every so often would play really shallow and rush the plate in bunt situations. Since he played so far off 1st, he was ruled not to be a 1st baseman and even had to swap gloves. The 2nd baseman would be covering 1st and ruled the 1st baseman and Rizzo would become the 2nd baseman officially

She was, but the car had several thousands of $'s worth of damage. Thing was, she just got that car 10 days before that accident. Thank God, woman accepted responsibility & insurance paid for damages.
My daughter's car was rear ended in Tennessee when she was going to a friends house & getting off an highway and she stopped at the stop sign at the top of the off ramp. The woman who hit her told her she was surprised when my daughter stopped because "No one ever stops there"
