I'm good with teaching I.T. things that aren't even remotely my job to teach, but when I ask someone to take notes so they can remember how to do something I have shown them five times, and they refuse to take notes, they're on their own.

I'm feeling a bit sassy, and crabby this week. 🤣

Pro tip for communication:

If someone is unclear on what you are trying to communicate, repeating the exact same thing over & over will not suddenly foster comprehension.

Your tendency to continue repeating the same thing actually may explain the source of some of the confusion in the first place.

I'm glad the guard was arrested.

Obviously shoplifting is wrong but the guy was down, fully subdued, and that guard stomped him in the ribs, punched him several times in the head, and screamed threats in his face.

I adore Loretta Ross, and I was fortunate enough to briefly meet her a few months ago at a conference in Montreal.

She's been a human rights activist for over 50 years and holds incredible wisdom which she insists comes from many years of, "fucking it up before getting it right".

I'm just finally getting into reading it but I've been absolutely in love with Loretta Ross' work for many years, and even without being through it, I can say with confidence that it's going to be a worthwhile read.

Whenever I go to Toronto, I come back with enough different mustards from Kozlik's give everyone travel gifts, and I'm set for the next year. People laugh at me every time!

It was pretty awful at the time, but my partner stayed home from work and took care of me so it gave me a pretty good glimpse into things. 😊

This has been my go to lunch lately.

Salad with sumac, lemon juice, tahini, dukkah, and shrimp.

I make up a bunch of shrimp/shish taouk, portion, and freeze them. They'll be thawed out and perfect by the time I'm ready to eat them tomorrow.

The fork is useless and makes me irrationally angry.

I think that's a great idea! I would show up for sure!

For large groups, there are tons of public places to do it too just in case people are more comfortable with a, "come and go" situation.

Also, my definition of, "fuck face" is a bit different, and not suitable for public discussion. 🤣
