Since when did it become acceptable to start a war over a country getting a nuclear bomb? And, how likely is it that Iran would use one, knowing that Israel and possibly the US would retaliate? While nuclear proliferation is a bad thing, so is heedlessly bombing civilian targets.

Trump said they had no military left and shot their last shot THEN like the next day Hegseth said it would be the most intense bombing yet.

This guy irks the hell out of me. The fake machismo, the preening, the lack of sensitivity, the embrace of violence. He should not be allowed to address the nation.

This is correct. My take is that it's the worst of both worlds: there's plenty of evidence that Hegseth is a dumbass who doesn't know what the words he uses mean and that he wants the US military to commit a bunch of war crimes.

What’s true is DHS, CBP, ICE et al seem to be in most places. Vermont just had a violent kidnapping that is getting little attention. ICE has not left Maine.

Until we abolish DHS, kidnappings will continue as ICE is well-funded, has RE, and travels with corporate contracts.
