Update: itβs been three years, still loving it (77% through) but I think I should get credit for at least two books just for finishing this one π

Iβm humbled by what was apparently a very harsh review of Road of Bones (but I still love you Demi Winters π¬π)
Happy New Years Eve β¨π
I hit 53 books this year!! π³ this was the year that I started reading on NetGalley β I feel so lucky to have gotten some of those early reads (several of which were top reads this year!)

I just started reading Empire of the Vampire, which has been on my TBR for months. Already sucked in π§π»π©Έπ

Iβm currently reading an ARC for Deathbringer by Sonia Tagliareni. Iβm so excited by the premise and a new world/magic system to dive into π Deathbringer promises to bring the suspense, some enemies-to-lovers tension, and ever-higher stakes πππΆοΈππͺ
A throw-sized quilt made with HSTs in blue and gray prints.
Off-topic but I wanna share the quilt that I finished last night because I love it π This will be a Christmas present for my in-laws. Itβs made with Charley Harper fabric (Iβve also used a Charley Harper print for the backing and binding) and was machine quilted by Missouri Star Quilt Co.
Just finished graphic with the cover for A Killing Cold by Kate Alice Marshall and a blurb for the book
Just finished A Killing Cold by Kate Alice Marshall! Sheβs quickly becoming a must-read thriller author. Itβs a great traditional thriller β secluded location, lots of moving parts, and some twisty reveals ππβ‘οΈ

Whatβs the longest good book streak youβve ever had? I had a great one going β 7 in a row four and five star readsβ¦ at what point are you doomed to read a mid-at-best book? ππ
Just finished reading The Gods Time Forgot by Kelsie Sheridan Gonzalez. This book came out earlier this year. A 2-star read for me, but might appeal more to fans of romantic historical fiction! πππΆοΈππͺ

A 4βοΈ read for me! Beautiful imagery, impactful themes, and an adorable MMCπ₯°
Definitely fantasy first and romance⦠maybe third? Read this book for the whimsy, the imagination, and the poignant reflections on choice, fate, and love.

The cover of Dawn of the North with a stream in the background, overlaid with the genre and book blurb
Iβm so happy and excited that I got the ARC for Dawn of the North by Demi Winters! I read the first and second books of this series earlier this year. I canβt wait to see what Winters has in store for Silla and Saga πππΆοΈππͺ
