I’m humbled by what was apparently a very harsh review of Road of Bones (but I still love you Demi Winters 😬😍)

Happy New Years Eve βœ¨πŸŽ†

I hit 53 books this year!! 😳 this was the year that I started reading on NetGalley β€” I feel so lucky to have gotten some of those early reads (several of which were top reads this year!)

I finally got around to reading Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries β€” it’s been on my TBR since it was a GR choice award in 2023. And I loved it! It’s a great cozy romantic fantasy πŸ’™πŸ“šπŸŒΆοΈπŸ“šπŸͺ

I’m currently reading an ARC for Deathbringer by Sonia Tagliareni. I’m so excited by the premise and a new world/magic system to dive into 😍 Deathbringer promises to bring the suspense, some enemies-to-lovers tension, and ever-higher stakes πŸ’™πŸ“šπŸŒΆοΈπŸ“šπŸͺ

A throw-sized quilt made with HSTs in blue and gray prints.

Off-topic but I wanna share the quilt that I finished last night because I love it 😍 This will be a Christmas present for my in-laws. It’s made with Charley Harper fabric (I’ve also used a Charley Harper print for the backing and binding) and was machine quilted by Missouri Star Quilt Co.

Just finished A Killing Cold by Kate Alice Marshall! She’s quickly becoming a must-read thriller author. It’s a great traditional thriller β€” secluded location, lots of moving parts, and some twisty reveals πŸ’™πŸ“šβš‘οΈ

A 4⭐️ read for me! Beautiful imagery, impactful themes, and an adorable MMCπŸ₯°

Definitely fantasy first and romance… maybe third? Read this book for the whimsy, the imagination, and the poignant reflections on choice, fate, and love.

1. My name is Sarah
2. I love all things crafty β€” knitting, sewing, crochet, you name it
3. That doesn’t mean I’m good at all of them, but I do try
