Just noticed that I'm at 100 pages and I'm estimating the whole story to be ~300 pages, and between 90k-110k words. Here's to hoping my estimation is accurate. 🙏

Don’t you want to go home?” That offer would have been pleasant if I hadn’t just witnessed a record of a crew of undoubtedly well-armed individuals get murdered by a horror I couldn’t even fathom out in the Wastes. Preferably, when the idea of going home was presented to me, it would be my parents picking me up so I didn’t have to take a jaunt through a valley of death to reach it. Did that make me a coward? Sure. But unlike everyone’s stereotype of emotionless Havenfolk, I was in possession of a working sense of fear and it kept me alive.
