this mean npm going down won't affect those leveraging this way of publishing packages. it's like everyone owning their own thing.
did not continue it because the scheduel went a bit harsh, but would love to explore it again.
i literally had an experiment for a new "npmjs" to potentially make something like `npm add nuxt.com` or `npm add nuxt.com/package` the mainstream thing to be done.
this would help us be more decentralized and we'd get rid of the fights over npm package names already being taken.
i'm writing a blog post around rollup, bundling and an optimization fix that landed lately in rollup.
