I've updated the camera movement script for Islands of the Caliph too (as I did in Cyclopean). I tried to fix it before, but the player would sporadically spin around in the wrong direction :)

I've been running gdcparties.com for a few years now. Some shitty company BlueberryAI decided they'd just take all the source code for the work I've done and reskin it, advertising it as their own. This might not look like much, but I coded a scanline/flicker mimicking the Game Boy's 10 sprite per scanline limit, and draw order.

Had a lot of help from my rendering engineer girlfriend Vivian, for whom such code is a piece of cake. But I'm still proud. It's for a game.
