Dan and Pagu, a fanmade rider and his monster for Monster Hunter Stories. Dan carries a Large Bone Club, wears a Monoblos Gunner Helmet, and wears similar clothing to the Moga Chief's son. Pagu is a Hermitaur, with a saddle made from the Iron Lance's shield tied to his body with rope.

These are Dan and Pagu, a young boy from Moga and his shelless Hermitaur friend. They make a living digging for treasure on the beach, until one day they found the beach littered with strange crystals that would change their lives forever.

GODZILLA A mutated Titanosaurus, a dinosaur originally thought to have gone extinct with the rest. He laid waste to Tokyo in 1954 until Dr. Shinzo Mafune nobly sacrificed himself to lure the beast out to sea using a submarine rigged with explosives. Though Godzilla survived, he has since turned his attention to other monsters.

ANGUIRUS The first monster Godzilla fought. A rival dinosaur as old as Godzilla (a Baranosdragon to be specific), they first fought in Tokyo in 1955, the year after Godzilla's first attack on humanity. After a prolonged battle, Anguirus was knocked into a canyon, but Godzilla himself was trapped in ice by the JSDF soon after.

A short thread with thoughts on Disney's Dinosaur, which I rewatched recently to commemorate the loss of Dinoland USA.

I always forget just how dark this movie is, inarguably the darkest in the entire Disney filmography. There is SO much death and suffering both on and off-screen, it's truly grim!

As a Servant, Tom is mischievous, but still friendly and willing to help, whether joining a fight against hostile Servants or saving his Master or innocents from drowning. Uniquely among Servants, he performs well in water, but fares worse on land (as expected for a sea animal).

Over time, however, whaling declined in Eden, and yet Tom would continually visit the coasts alone. One day, he was found dead in 1930 by unknown causes; however starvation caused by worn-out teeth is considered the most likely possibility.

Old Tom belonged to a pod known as "The Killers of Eden." Interestingly, Eden orcas worked with whalers, dating back to indigenous whalers of the area. The orcas were allowed to eat softer parts like tongues of whales, while whalers would take bones and blubber - this was "The Law of the Tongue."
