A minor miracle occurred today. I had a new printer delivered and it was all set up and running, connected to the Internet and to my laptop, within 10 minutes and no hiccups at all. Actually it's not a minor miracle, it's a blooming massive one.

I genuinely can't remember the last time I used a banknote!
That's assuming that there is a 'strategy ', other than something akin to a small boy with a water pistol, or a ten year old playing monopoly.
Good luck! Look forward to seeing the results.
Very firmly in the 'life's too short' category of liturgical perfectionism.
Mmm back to Venice....
โWho was Jesse Jackson?โ
From the new Private Eye, out now.
Ah I thought it was your garden. Yes, I guess plenty of scraps at HH.
But already loving the beautifully drawn characters, stylish writing, and an assumption that readers have some degree of erudition.
Beautiful. What have you been feeding that pigeon with???
Only on page 22!๐
Bringing back memories of going to Lincoln in 1973, only thee second year that women training as deaconesses were able to go to male Theological colleges. Well, to a selected three of them. Long before non-residential training existed.

Book The Gospel of Eve.
Well that's the rest of my day off plans set aside for a 'sofa and book' combo. Thank you @revrachelmann.bsky.social
That's understandable but a bit frustrating if you prefer to work without a script. I guess accessibility wins.
Assuming 'sword' isn't a phallic euphemism there.
Well thank the Lord for that!
I used to preach extempore most of the time. At some point, I lost my nerve and now rarely do so.
Surely is.
Priest with Canterbury cap
Ha ha, not that.๐คฃ This.
Square floppy thing, something like a graduation cap but without the cardboard
Trump. It is a distraction from all the Epstein stuff. And.... he's started a war so eventually he can potentially end it and add it to his imaginary list of 'wars he's ended'.
I remember having to restrain myself from suggesting to a then Archdeacon, some distinction between Canterbury caps and Dutch caps. I doubt he'd have got the allusion.
There's also a whole conversation around the acceptance of trans priests , at least legally, in the CofE , and the dissonance around same sex clergy couples. Please, I'm not making a naive/binary equivalence between trans and gay, but there's so much confused and ignorant dialectic.
A biretta would be good! When I was first licensed as a deaconess in 1980, obligatory Canterbury caps had only just been downgraded to optional. Thank the lord!
Really wondering if an Iranian nuclear weapons possibility is just as imaginary as the supposed 'weapons of mass destruction' that was used as a excuse to invade Iraq. It just feels like anti-muslim warmongering.
PS, can't imagine you in a Garden Party hat, somehow. I hate hats.
Aah but there's an awful lot of disconnect, isn't there! Too many people just don't use the brains with which God endowed them.
A very gracious man. Rest eternal.
Oops,a typo.
I know that! I was being grammar pedant, as opposed to liturgy pedant. I'm very adept at both!
