A color day photo showing the actual dogs belonging to one of my kids. Both are rescues, the one on the right is a foster fail, contrary to her facial expression she is not perpetually worried but a very happy doggo.
A water color painting of the two previous dogs. Please bear in mind I have never painted dogs before and likely never will again.
A water color painting of my other kiddos doggos. They are actually both Australian cattle dogs, I realize the one on the right looks like it's missing several chromosomes.
The actual dogs that I was painting, they are fantastic doggos.
I am not an artist, don't let these paintings fool you.
For family birthdays we all paint together (2 in fam are actual artists) like the paint with a twist places, we have varying results but oh, so much fun.
I decided to paint my kids dogs for their birthday cards this year...
You're welcome.

Spain could be the only EU country to beat energy price hikes
Spain spent the last six years investing heavily in wind and solar energy, leading to some of the cheapest power prices in Europe.
Huge investments in renewable energy have made Spain more independent from fossil fuel imports, and less vulnerable to the surging prices following the US and Israeli attacks on Iran
An end to fossil fuels is better for the climate and people's bills β and takes power away from tyrants

The image shows a beaver sitting upright in a patch of lush, tall green grass. The beaverβs fur appears wet and shaggy, with darker brown tones on the back and lighter brown fur on the face. The beaver is positioned facing the camera and is holding its small front paws close to its chest. Its large, slightly orange-tinted front teeth are visible.
A fallen tree branch extends diagonally behind the beaver, and the background is filled with dense green vegetation, including grass blades, leaves, and stems.
This Saturday (14 March) weβre sharing our love for beavers with the people of Birmingham via a large screen in Victoria Square. Join us between 10am and 4pm to watch incredible footage of these industrious rodents and learn why they are so important for healthy ecosystems.

Iβm about halfway through creating this triptych of King Arthurβs Chough. Building up layers of tiny plants on the cliff edge for its toes to sink into. Two layers of extra thick 23 carat gold leaf. Repainting and restoring the details of the original panel. A labour of love. My favourite bird.

As developed western economies increased the share of workers with academic qualifications, the earnings premium for a degree continued to move upwards. The sole exception here is the UK where over the last 25 years university degrees saw their pay premium shrink.

Google maps prediction of quickest time in the car to get to the Mairie for a passport application
Actual Time taken on the bike
Just been to apply for my French passport and ID card at a town 6km away.
Google said 12min in the car, 22mins on the bike. Took me 13 mins on the bike (not an e-bike but average speed wouldnβt be much slower on an e-bike)
β¬2 saved in an oil price crisis, and 26mins of exercise done
