Until the votes are done and counted I take nothing for granted in this age of interference and dirty tricks. The echo chamber will be guns blazing to try and poison the liberal candidates with the most heinous accusations.

Queue the outrage templates but swap conservatives for leftists. The only thing the NDP can say, though, is that they’ve always been against floor crossings and were pushing those changes even during Harper. It’s less hypocritical coming from them at least.

Given the state of the NDP and the massive fracture between McPherson and Lewis camps… chances are she’d lose next writ as NDP and they’d lose their local MP since 2021.

Drinking clean water, having your nutritional needs met, and having secure shelter should NEVER have been monetized. Ever. Ever. You realize that quickly when you’re like me and an eviction would equal certain death. If we want to build a nation we need citizens to have the basics of biology.

No one should be getting anything like this text message from another human seeking currency otherwise they will fling you into unsheltered existence which cannot sustain human life for any reason. Especially in a wealthy G7 country like ours. Our biological needs are monetized. It’s grotesque.

We as a species lost the plot when we allowed clean water, basic nutrition, and shelter to be monetized and denied ourselves the biological necessities of life because of a currency system.
In my opinion, it may be mankind’s biggest failure. No food, no clean water, no shelter— you die.

I wanted to wish a happy International Women’s Day to everyone.

I hope Canada embraces women in positions of authority and influence even moreso in this age of incels and misogynistic resurgent backlash.

I saw the lady who was trying to rake my lock on my security camera taking video through my window from the sidewalk (or trying to since they’re frosted) - she was on the sidewalk so it wasn’t trespass but I went outside and she immediately walked away.
