solves one of the biggest flaws for many in the original release with an all-new colour grade.

the second image opened up a rare wholesome [redacted] interaction i had with OBAYASHI chigumi; the directors daughter/co-writer of 'HOUSE'.
holding onto this moment to one day shoot my shot for a chance to interview her. i'd love to get some primary sources for an essay one day.

a lot of what got OBAYASHI the gig to direct his script into his first feature film was his massive marketing campaigns that spread a lot of word-of-mouth. so, a parade float just made sense.

i think there is a spirit of christmas imbued within it. the contrast between the violence and festivities is important, the reunion of family and random acts if kindness between strangers are too. christmas movie!
