Physics question from a biologist: if I have a tank of water (no water flow in or out other than via evaporation) and I put in an air stone to induce water motion, how do I calculate the water velocity? Is there a cheaper way to do this than buying a $1000+ flow probe?
Seems like the relevance of this Reagan-era Herblock cartoon has risen by 200%. Washington Post, 12/22/1988.
Late #PhycologyFriday - I just absolutely adore tours of science centers and getting to see all their beautiful tumble cultures
