Well that was a fun half term read @mazevansauthor.bsky.social
I loved it there. I felt like I'd stepped into a film set.
I finished this today. Another incredible, essential read. To be honest though I felt a bit sad by it because it reminded me how massive the jump from year 6 to year 7 is and how different the settings are. Got me thinking about some of the children in my class and their transitions.
Does anyone know of any good YouTube sites for helping my son revise GCSE science? Thanks
Hooray. It arrived. Pre-ordered it ages ago and now I get to see how it all concludes.

Ooh I finally got to see this on stage last week. So so good.
Well done! That is a massive achievement after such a manic week. At least it was lovely and sunny for you.
Yuk! You must be shattered. Hope you're managing to rest in the sunshine today to recover.

Sorry, that sounds tough. Are you still teaching and doing your amazing art sketchbooks?
I think this looks amazing too though, even though you didn't go with your own in the end.
That's great news- How exciting.
I love the fact that after 2 weeks of not logging on to my work emails I had a quick peep tonight and found that the only email from anyone in school was one thanking me for something. I know I'm really lucky to work in my school and moments like that remind me of it.

I was so pleased with the personalised card I bought my son for his birthday- until the point where I realised he's 15 this year π!
I love it that when I come out of school to my car, the highstreet is already looking all Christmassy. (Makes scrapping the ice of my windscreen much more enjoyable !!)
A year 4 boy in our school turned up this week with a bunch of roses. He gave one to each teacher. Made my whole day. It's the little moments like that that make teaching just the best job!
Hi. I've taken the role back on again. Haven't done it for a long time so it's all feeling new again.
Missing the beautiful skies in the mornings this half term. School was much prettier when the sky wasn't grey!
