Last time I tried that I was not too keen. This is tonight's wee dram to calm my rather frayed nerves before eating my veggie lasagne.
Talisker and Laphroaig are really cold weather warmers, Ardmore makes you think of autumn, so I'd go for Tamnavulin.
I've been thinking about the ginger one as I do like crystallised ginger in dark chocolate; I'm just a bit worried it might be too sweet.
I'm a bit knackered this evening from looking after my granddaughter Florence.
Waitrose sells it, in fact I had an offer of a free bottle on my Waitrose card last week but was a bit unsure.
Quite popular with Anglican church choirs that one, something for them to get their teeth into.

Good night John-boy.

Who mentioned Valkyrie? Are we back to the Solti version of Wagner's Ring Cycle again?
#thefilmcrowd
I bet she's glad she got out of that one.
Presumably Horner's fee wasn't significantly more than the $163.57 allocated to the special effects budget.

Evening everyone, watching this on the appropriately named PlutoTV channel.
#thefilmcrowd
Along with most of #LesSix, Elsa Barraine wrote several film scores. One of them, Pattes Blanches (White Paws), is available to watch for free on the Classic Film Time channel. There's no subtitles though - an opportunity perhaps to brush up on some French.π€
Seems to be available on the PlutoTV channel as well.

Topshop is a disco - with clothes.
Because, when I was in the work place, there were a few people who thought others (and me) should be deferential towards them. But the reality was, we were all subjects of HM Queen Elizabeth. That thought keeps me from getting angry about them.
Are there any school #teachers here who teach science e.g physics, that have (or are wanting to) write books? As I've an idea for a possible collaboration (myself with whomever obviously) for a book that's targeted to a specific audience & school level. It's been floating around my mind for a while.
I vaguely remember going to see a version in the 70s, it was quite brooding and atmospheric.
I've probably got quite a few of those on vinyl.
The Solti version of Wagner's Das Rheingold was recorded in 1958 , it's still thought to be one of the best.
#thefilmcrowd
Didn't we watch that a while back?
#thefilmcrowd
...and also Dr Bruckner in Boys from Brazil - very Romantic ?
#thefilmcrowd
The Solti Rheingold, I've got that on vinyl LP.
