Som andre har påpekt er meldeplikten for helsepersonell lik uansett hvor en arbeider. Det er også forskjeller i praksis på dette området, og som med mye annet på rusfeltet, så gjøres det sannsynligvis mer inngående vurderinger av forholdet mellom rusbruk og ev. meldeplikt på rusklinikkene.

Perfect ending to a busy semester. We arranged a successful 1st Stavanger Brain Health symposium on the 20th, w/excellent talks. Followed by the #IBNS conference in Tromsø. I was happy to give a talk on approaches to impulsivity in brain disorders. Now it’s time for something completely different.

When I read ideas about ChatGPT as a replacement for writing, I immediately go to Weick’s explanation of the old adage, “How do I know what I think, until I see what I say?” If it replaces or profoundly shapes the writing process, then it changes the thinking process… which will align w/ its outputs

That is not necessarily true. Waitlist control groups are normally expected to change somewhat. Wither by natural recovery or becoming worse. Still, waitlist control groups are faaar from optimal.
Helse-perspektivet er et svart hull i debatten. Debatten handler om juridiske forhold, hvor helse brukes som en sanksjon eller neglisjeres i varierende grad. Dette bryter nok mot hva mange helsefolk tenker helsehjelp er, hvor muligheten for selvbestemmelse står mildt sagt sterkt.
