A wee #Sparrowhawk/#Goshawk was being mobbed by a number of jackdaws
Wednesday 11th March
Conocephalum conicum 'Great Scented Liverwort' along the Kelvin Walkway. Probably the commonest #liverwort found around Glasgow.
Wild walk today - found me a #badger poo pit sooooo another area for more intense surveying. Other signs include a path, snuffle hole and further single poo pits. π©Άπ€π€
Checked a local #badger sett, fresh activity, lots of digging, snuffle holes, bedding and spoil heaps π©Άπ€π€πΎπΎ
My husband rescued over 100 #toads this morning...
Stuck in just a few inches of water, at the bottom of a deep-sided pit with a grate on top. He'd walked over the grate a few times before he noticed movement beneath it and realised what it was. Thank goodness he was able to reach them !
