My hot game of Gen Con was Barrage. Rushed into the hall Thursday morning to get it like it was somehow going to sell out. But glad I did...
And big tech company bros being the ones to reap the rewards regardless of the outcome is accurate, even if it’s not very subtle.
Had a similar reaction. And the more I sat with it and had/seen/read discussions about the more I liked it.
At the very least it’s original and thrilling. And I think the idea of people’s convictions being subject to manipulation or just not being deeply held certainly has its place.
Yeah I think over a rewatch or two Years may go up.
Interesting. I enjoyed it but was mostly disappointed. But 28 days later holds a very special place in my heart.
Spoiled that I'm 45 minutes from one of the 10 places in the world showing it on 70mm film. But, yes, it benefits from the format.

Spent a very lovely 3.5 hours watching The Brutalist. It’s gorgeous and well acted. Gonna have to sit with this one for a bit though.
