Because every Norwegian employee of Opera is an obligated Chinese agent who, contrary to their laws of their countries, steals user data and sends it to the CCP. I can't think of any other way to explain the thought process of all the people who keep shouting about Opera being Chinese spyware.
I dont think so. Opera is still headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and it’s a publicly traded company on NASDAQ, they're usually obligated to follow the laws from the country where their HQ is at.
