Our team joined Youth Lobby Day, organized by Movimiento Poder, where young Latine leaders got an opportunity to interact with policymakers and see how they can influence public decisions that affect their lives.

It was great to see all the small business owners and entrepreneurs come together for the 2026 Entrepreneur Day of Action at the Capitol.

We joined Women of Color Making A Difference and Denver African American Philanthropists during a celebratory event to honor their 2025 grant recipients.

Our team visited the Clyfford Still Museum—one of our agency fund partners.
Director Joyce Tsai walked us through the "Tell Clyfford I Said 'Hi'" exhibit co-curated with children from the Colville Confederated Tribes in Washington state, where Still lived and worked in the 1930s.
Our team celebrated the Lunar New Year – a major holiday in many Asian countries, including Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Korea.
We welcomed the distinguished calligraphy artist and educator, Harrison Xinshi Tu, who taught us the history, significance, and art of calligraphy painting.
Nonprofits and elected officials came together at The Denver Foundation to build connections and understand the shared priorities of our community. These relationships are essential to ensure legislative work is centered on the people it affects.

Colorado’s first LGBTQ+ Giving Circle is building a space for people to give together, learn together, and support the needs of LGBTQ+ communities.
Since launching earlier this year, the giving circle has already grown to 44 members and awarded a total of $16,000 in grants to eight organizations.

We're heartbroken to hear about the passing of Senator Faith Winter.
We had the honor of working with her on state policies to support affordable housing, increase funding for public transportation, and reduce the impacts of climate change.
Her impact will be felt for generations to come.
The state of Colorado and the City and County of Denver have declared November 30, 2025, our official birthday, as “The Denver Foundation Day”.
