Our team visited the Clyfford Still Museum—one of our agency fund partners.
Director Joyce Tsai walked us through the "Tell Clyfford I Said 'Hi'" exhibit co-curated with children from the Colville Confederated Tribes in Washington state, where Still lived and worked in the 1930s.

It’s been a busy week for our policy team—first day of the legislative session, State of the State, and partner meetings.
We're listening to where civic leaders are focusing their attention—especially around economic opportunity, environment, housing, youth well-being, and issues in our sector.

We're heartbroken to hear about the passing of Senator Faith Winter.
We had the honor of working with her on state policies to support affordable housing, increase funding for public transportation, and reduce the impacts of climate change.
Her impact will be felt for generations to come.

We Need to Rethink Who We Call a Philanthropist
"It’s time to reclaim philanthropy as a shared human value, not just a privilege of the wealthy."
“When we define philanthropy so narrowly, we erase entire communities of givers, especially communities of color, immigrants and working-class families — we ignore the generosity that has sustained mutual aid networks long before philanthropy was formalized.”
