As the march grew, I saw the various signs people were carrying. I realized they were marching in support of everything. Literally everything our predecessors had marched for generations ago. It made me sad that we’re still fighting for the same things so many years later. I cried. 2/2
I’ve been torn between wanting to participate in protests and wanting to avoid large crowds. Yesterday I went to lunch and while I was eating, I realized there was a march starting outside the window. I had a front row seat to watch. 1/2
