You Are Probably Wildly Underestimating How Many Americans Support DEI, New Study Shows How popular is diversity and inclusion in Trump’s America, really? A new study suggests whatever you’re thinking, you’re probably wrong.

A new study found that 82% of respondents favored DEI policies. "While the vast majority of respondents were positive about DEI themselves, they estimated just 55 percent of Americans held pro-diversity views."

DEI is more popular than we assume!

Seattle canceled tiny house village after backlash from neighbors Seattle canceled tiny house village after backlash from neighbors

NEW: In August, Seattle canceled Nickelsville’s proposed 15-unit tiny house village in Rainier Valley. Until now, it was not clear why. Records obtained by @realchangenews.bsky.social show that some neighbors complained to the city prior to the permit denial.

UPDATEβ€”Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

And know this, the day will come when all these skirmishes and battles, these moments of defiance will have flooded the banks of the Empire's authority and then there will be one too many. One single thing will break the siege. Remember this. Try. #nemiksmanifesto #andor #artimitateslife

And then remember this. The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. #nemiksmanifesto #andor

There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they've already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. #nemiksmanifesto #andor

There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Remember this. Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. #andor

I never knew about red-wing blackbirds - MskwangΓ© - even though they were present in all the places I had lived. Ranging over the entire continent, they were a constant, unnoticed presence for all the big moments in my life. I was surrounded by them, and I had no idea.

I always knew that I was Potawatomi. I did not know what that meant. I didn't know about the lives my ancestors lived, or how the paths they took and choices they made would lead to the paths that I took and choices I made.

I always knew that I was Potawatomi. I did not know how that mattered. I was surrounded by other native communities growing up. I knew about the history of displacement and forced relocation Indigenous communities endured - about broken treaties and life on reservations, but I didn't understand that it was also my history. I also knew that indigenous history is not only one of trauma, but I didn't know so many beautiful details about our history and also the beauty, innovation, and resilience that our people show and the innumerable ways in which we support each other.

I always knew that I was Potawatomi. I did not know how to be that. After my father died suddenly, I sought to learn more about the tribe as a way to understand him a little better. I never knew his father, or his father either, or any of the many relations in this part of my heritage. In reaching out, tentatively, to try and connect with a part of my family that I had been cut off from, I was hoping to be allowed to ask a few questions, to sit in the periphery and learn a few details so that I could fill in some of those mysterious parts.

I always knew that I was Potawatomi. I didn't know that I could say that. I asked, tentatively, "you don't know me, but can I sit on the edge and watch in silence? I know I don't belong, but it would mean so much to me just to know a little bit." I thought I'd be on this path alone. I never imagined that I'd be answered with an embrace, with love, with "we've been looking for …

This week I finished a program with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation - of which I am an enrolled member - called Mdamen (literally β€œthat miraculous seed”)
It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It helped me put words to a part of my identity I’ve never known how to talk about before.

Supreme Court Rejects Trump’s Bid to Freeze Foreign Aid The move came after Chief Justice Roberts temporarily paused a trial judge’s order requiring the administration to release more than $1.5 billion.

The Supreme Court rejected President Trump’s emergency request to freeze nearly $2 billion in foreign aid

"The ruling represented one of the court’s first moves in response to the flurry of litigation filed" because of Trump/Musk's govt cuts.

Elon Musk is trying to buy the Wisconsin Supreme Court β€œHis attack on democracy isn’t limited to gutting the federal government. He wants it all.”

There’s a crucial election coming up in a battleground state: The liberal majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court is at risk. Elon Musk is not only determined to infiltrate every level of the federal government, he’s coming after our local elections, too. We’re not going to let him get away with it.
