Would suggest you invest in a wrist rest. The top of your wrist should be flat when typing, not pronated (flexed up), precisely to avoid RSI impacts. If you’re not able to suspend your wrists from the surface of your laptop or desk to make them flat, then you need something to prop them up.

Yep. Recycling is nonsense. Plastic recycling doesn’t have like for like closed loop so actually vastly *increases* demand for virgin plastic. the solution to plastic pollution is stop buying plastic (I’ve been appx 90% plastic free for last 8yrs. Is possible!)
