This by-election has felt like 95% AI slop online, but quietly hopeful when I walk around my neighbourhood and see a majority of green posters. That said this is the first election that's gone by when I see posters for far right parties proudly on display.

Today I also realised I’ve been an academic longer than I was an archivist, which is weird. I miss getting to know people by sorting and describing their things (but also I cannot claim to have been a good cataloguer so that is nostalgia speaking)
