I double checked. Looks like I was wrong. Thanks for correcting me!

RPGBOT uses βDPRβ to approximate expected damage output for DnD character builds. Itβs not a perfect metric, but it gives us an objective, rules-based way to assess one aspect of a characterβs effectiveness.
RPGBOT.net is currently having a fun issues where I can't save changes. You can still read the site fine, but I can't write and I. AM. DYING.
The DnD Artificer is the master of tools and magic items. Their unique ability to replicate magic items means that they have more options for solving problems with equipment than most characters, and anything not solved by items can be solved by spellcasting and subclass features.

A look at DnD Pugilistβs subclass features at level 17. Several of them are save-or-suck effects, including the thing that Tyler picks up.
The fantasy of DnDβs Cleric is bringing incredible divine power to solve your problems in the name of a higher power. Since the source of a Clericβs power is typically a deity, your choice of deity has a huge impact here.

I turned my DnD Pugilist into a terrifying air-lift monster that can make enemies attack their friends, and then drop them on each other. Itβs a good time!

The DnD release schedule for most of 2026 was just announced, and weβre getting some fun stuff.

I FORGOT BARD π. The Bard is either a poet, a composer, accessories worn by horses, or an outside cut of meat (ex: bacon), so itβs perfectly reasonable play your bard as a snack.
Your DnD classβs name should tell you everything you need to know about what they are what they do, and understanding the linguistic roots of their names can help understand what the class is.
Weβve used the same rating system on RPGBOT.net for over a decade and weβve never felt the need to change it.
Our recent podcast episodes cover building an optimized DnD Pugilist. We picked species, and our choices here were more impactful than we anticipated.

DnDβs pugilist has easy ways to get Advantage on attacks without cutting into their action economy and without spending resources, which gives them easy access to a massive boost to their DPR. It does allow a save, but with up to 4 attacks, youβll either succeed or drop your target.

And that's where we're calling it for the night! An exciting conclusion to the chapter!
Randall got 3 of unconscious at the same time, which I think is a first. That's the closest we've come to a TPK!
Tragically, the chimera didn't have any loot. All the loot here came from that spellcaster that we killed, and the vast majority of it was his fancy yurt. It's a super nice Yurt, but, like... we kind want the cash.
King Screm, my beloved bard, wants an heir. Goblins have notoriously short lives, and I keep almost dying, so I need a backup character.
I may need to adopt so that we don't have to time skip 3 years to when my first born is legally an adult and therefore playable.
Cleric wants to focus on building up the city's defenses. He's still upset about the time that trolls took over our capital.
Rogue wants to build up the thieves' guild. The local criminal element has been seriously neglected.
Witch wants more magical academia. Libraries, wizard's towers, scrolls, etc.
We're talking about the next chapter of the adventure. GM wants to do some deeper RP in the next section and explore what our characters want, so now we're talking what our characters want.
I have now canonically high-fived a ghost.
The ghost of the gnome we met a couple sessions ago appeared. He congratulated us for killing the chimera, and now he's off to the afterlife. Good for him. I hope he goes somewhere nice.
Cleric healed back up to almost full, and hit again for another 40 points. It's below 1/4 hp.
Rogue goes next, exactly hits it, and it's dead!
Witch sent his corgie familiar to deliver Sanctuary to our Cleric, which should hopefully eat at least one Action from the plan.
It didn't work. Crit the cleric and almost brought him down from nearly full hp.
Now that we know it's weak to slashing, Rogue rushed in with his kukri and got another big hit. Plant is probably around half hp.
I'm in rough shape, but I'm summoning another skeleton anyway! We need flanking!
Cleric got a really good hit in. With Divine Weapon his Strike is Holy, so he hit two weaknesses and dealt almost 50 damage in one shot. We might have a shot here!
Witch hit the plant with Fear. Plant crit our Cleric, who stayed up thanks to Orc Ferocity. Fight is NOT going well.
I summoned a skeleton to get an extra body on the field to draw attacks. It slashed the plant, the plent spewed acid on it as a Reaction, and now I no longer have a skeleton.
But we did learn that is has Weakness 10 to Slashing, which is pretty cool.
