Same as BSP?
This one slaps
Changed my camera to orthographic, and it actually looks kinda cool? Idk if I'll use it but it's fun to see the game a different way
Here's a couple behind-the-scene views you will never see in-game. I really love the isometric view, would be fun to maybe re-visit this game as like a third person city builder or something.
Still ramping up towards the demo, working on a new trailer for it along with re-working the game loop after feedback from CIGS. Took catalog of all characters made for the game so far today, here they are.
Some personal news:
I've been fired from the Washington Post in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk shooting.
Thread incoming.

I had fun messing about with Dock King at CIGS yesterday. The tall stacking and delivering mechanics will lead to shenanigans all over this town of wacky characters.

Another win for the chicago indie scene
Chicago indie devs let's goooo
Gorgeous work
love it, very juicy. how are you doing the fish animations, some sort of mesh deformation?
Which you can't see because I forgot bluesky doesn't have gifs ..
Meet the villain of the game (the "Dock King"), how's he look? Credit to @bencollie for these fantastic animations.
Contracted the talented fernandobravan to make this fantastic capsule art. You can see the progress from the image I first sent him to the final art. (Thank god I can afford to hire an artist and don't have to use the first one)

This is what most of game development actually looks like
Pixel art of a large amount of skeletons, ranging from some wielding large weapons to magic. Text reads "Wurm Fud" in the corners.
What 1 month of daily skeletal summonings looks like~

Looks handy!!
love the foreground colors on the flower, really makes it POP
Doing some pixel art this weekend as well as setting up these merchant stalls to rotate out new items and allow NPC's + the player to purchase them .. behold the fruits of my labor
My dream is to get to this level of quality across all disciplines one day (or find somebody like Tiani has to balance out the disciplines I'm not good at)
Old one for sure - not sure what the advantage is of the new one. Maybe you can "highlight" who is speaking better if that's the worry.
