ACLPI, with co-counsel Adriane Hofmeyr, has filed a lawsuit challenging the county P&Z commission's vote to rezone land for the controversial βProject Blueβ data center, alleging violation of AZβs Open Meeting Law because the meeting agenda didn't provide public notice of the true rezoning purpose.

Today, Judge Fox ruled AZ's funding for capital needs of public schools is unconstitutional & must be reformed. βAfter carefully & thoroughly reviewing the record . . . the Court concludes that the current... system does not meet the constitutional minimum standards (set) by the AZ Supreme Court.β

The US Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit unanimously upheld a ruling striking down AZ's βreason to believeβ voter registration law for violating the 1964 Civil Rights Act. It would have required recorders to citizenship check if they had βreason to believeβ the voter is not a U.S. citizen. ACLPI.org.
