I had fun reading to some Burke Elementary students at the Chicago Public Library today. When the Obama Presidential Center opens next year, we’ll have a new branch of the library for the community to enjoy.

That’s not entertainment — that’s censorship. When you silence voices over political disagreement, you show blatant disregard for the First Amendment. We’ve waited an hour before at the Champlain / Lacolle crossing getting back into the States. Last Monday, it was virtually empty.

Sonia Sotomayor accuses Supreme Court of rewarding Trump's "clear defiance" "The President must take care that the laws are faithfully executed, not set out to dismantle them," Sotomayor wrote.

That’s a hard call. If that happens then we won’t have anyone left on the inside with a conscience. I don’t know what the answer is, but having good people leave seems like it will only make things worse. But I understand how terrible it must be to work there.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
