Also, the fact that this game is the first one to provide wish fulfillment on a moment from the original episode of the Pokemon anime from almost 30 years ago is wild, but very effective.
Iβm still super early, but Pokopiaβs got its hooks in me. The social interactions with all of the Pokemon is like Animal Crossing if that game wasnβt so reserved.

Peakychu Pokedex Description:
When it's friends were sick, this Pokemon repeatedly shared it's own electricity with them.
As a result, it's physical structure changed, and it became unable to generate electricity.

NOEM: She did not. She's with her family

Seeing the upload date as β20 years agoβ has done some major psychic damage to me.
Itβs been 8 months since the Switch 2 came out and Iβm finally really playing the game that shipped with the console. Being able to play free roam mode and then jump into a Knockout Tour game when I want to race is a very appealing draw to this game.
I'm very glad that the Steam game that I've played the most over the past several years is getting another DLC. (143 hours somehow (but it is a background/idle game) youtu.be/gj2LP-c8rLs?...
Mario Kart World is a great showcase of how beautiful Switch 2 games can look. The fact that it has an incredibly appealing open world is very cool, though I canβt understand why itβs so empty. I wonder if there was, or is, more content planned for the game.
This really is a great picture:

This week at work someone said to me βyou know there are other games out there besides Nintendo games,β and that really upset me. People really can just say anything, regardless if itβs true.
Finally playing GTA and itβs way better than I thought
βDoing donuts in the park as mariachi Waluigiβ is, I hope, a new core memory for me that I can dredge up when Iβm in my 80βs.
Animal Crossing in first person looks pretty good (despite somewhat awkward framing)
Even though this vista spot was the focus of the whole marketing campaign, this was still a cool unique moment.
The contact splash is a nice touch

While Iβm ready for a new main Zelda game, I think I also want a Breath of the Wild cooking spinoff title. The gameplay of looking up the recipe for Risotto and selecting the right ingredients is a fun dumb minigame that I never really engaged with because itβs much easier to wear armor for buffs.
Reached the end of the Gloomwood early access build. This might be the best immersive sim I've played since the last Deus Ex or possibly Prey 2016. Man, I miss this genre.
