For now, probably. But as Resonite improves, it's audience will build naturally. Like I said all it takes is one big bad decision and VRC is done for anyway, people are already tired of the Marketplace and collabs

┐⁠(⁠‘⁠～⁠`⁠;⁠)⁠┌ I think ultimately Resonite just needs to work on accessibility. It needs a desktop SDK and better onboarding for new users. As wonderful and capable as it is, half the time I play it kinda just turns into a tech session where people are creating/configuring their avatars

VRC was transparent about it and it's optional. Not saying it's a good thing but they handled it a million times better than Discord did

Ultimately, unless VRC does something truly heinous, it's always going to be magnitudes more popular than Resonite, especially given the technical state the game is in compared to VRC. I don't think ruminating over it is good for your mental health, it's something that we can't really change
