“She’s not even a master vampire. No, the master vampires are the ones who built this plagiarism machine. She’s just a ghoulish neonate, a feral bloodsucker down in the sewers happy to feed on the blood-soaked fatberg formed in the tunnels by the elder lords.”

This 1970s black-and-white photo features Ernie Coombs as Mr. Dressup, smiling with crossed arms in a colorful patchwork jacket, plaid bow tie, and striped pants. Beside him, on a wooden treehouse set with a blue door and yellow banners, are the puppets Casey (a red-haired child in brown) and Finnegan (a gray dog with a red collar), from the Canadian children's show *Mr. Dressup*.
Ernie Coombs was, and still is, a beloved symbol for generations of Canadians.
As Mr. Dressup, he was a fixture of Canadian television for decades. Even 24 years after his death he is remembered fondly.
This is his story.
