It’s depressing when this comes up on Pointless and the only correct answers in the first category were ‘arctic’ and ‘gull’, and there were NO correct answers in the second category! Those 100 people need to be educated!

An impressive 52 Chiffchaff mist-netted in a couple of hours at one of our west Cornwall sewage works sites this morning. Included just the one Sibe Chiff and a retrap of a bird originally ringed in Hampshire in August.
