I don't think I've run across this fact before, which is surprising to me. However, it does make me feel better about deciding to take tomorrow off even before our site superintendent called off work (allegedly, I never got a text).

In Minnesota we just had a major giving charity day (Give to the Max) on Nov 20th with ~3 weeks lead up of email and postal mail clamoring for donations from every charity with a presence in the state. I very much had a sense of "what fresh hell is this" when I got Giving Tuesday emails yesterday.
If you just stopped doing white collar crime, you wouldn't be foiled by those meddling kids.
Also, I'm pretty sure most of those monster costumes are really more of an attractive nuisance than anything else. Of course they're going to attract the attention of the youth!

A layered pumpkin carving featuring the silhouette of Shaggy and Scooby from Scooby Doo under a moon.
A pumpkin carving of Senshi's face from Delicious in Dungeon. It's a layered style carving instead of cutting all the way through.

Here are this year's pumpkins! Why are there two pumpkins featuring the same design? That's because the two traditionally carved pumpkins shriveled up horribly and were toast by Halloween. I ended up re-carving one of the designs yesterday evening after work. So you get both versions.
Lola! I'm glad today's adventure didn't have a worse ending, but oh my gosh.
Picture of a white house with a flag coming off the front porch. Flag is menacing loon flag in full view. There's also a bit of garden and a pine tree in front of the house. There are more trees in the shot.
Not the most important thing by far, but I have a newly hung flag. Big accomplishment of the day as I continue to try and do little improvements most days until I'm moved in.
Oh my gosh that's absolutely fantastic! Congratulations!
I've read a couple of different necromancer life builds (including this one) and they've all been fairly enjoyable. I'll have to try watching the show.
Half the time I worry, what if something got wrongfully attached to my account/identity fraud or what if I got a ticket somewhere and was never notified?
I hope you have a blast with the volunteer gig!

Shyler visited Lake Maria State Park yesterday and had part of two ice cream cones. So she had a great day trotting across five miles of muddy hills.
Posted my first fic in many months. It's also a bit of a mile stone, as I've now crossed the 1,000,000 word mark on A03. It's another Wednesday fic, mild Wednesday/Enid, 5.5k. archiveofourown.org/works/63264277
There were -34ΒΊF windchill in the state today and we're expecting an actual temp of -17ΒΊF tomorrow. Plan your day accordingly. There's a very good reason my site's field crew probably isn't working until Thursday this week.
Think I finished my first fic in months that I'm still happy about at the end of writing. Will need to reread and edit, but think I'll have something to post soon.
