I refer to true love of course, I don't know what YOU were thinking
hard to believe how many people across the entire world want one simple thing that just never seems to happen
@wychstreet.bsky.social Watch this Don Justino and give me your thoughts.
This is how I access BlueSky.
Remeber Don Justino, the best things in life son gratis!!!!
That fucking audio at the start of the series with dead Mussolini stating that we will miss him (or something like that), gave me the chills.
Freddy Rumsen making a pitch for Peggy
…Is there food on your teeth, ashes on your tie wearing and you have nothing to say. The meeting is boring, but you can’t be. But you are wearing an Accutron. This watch makes you interesting.
Sometime before the ending you know he isn't going to make it, and the final shot crushes you. Its amazing to find out this is from 1932. When I watched it I thought it was a "B-Film" from the early forties. Is crazy how WB progressed from TJZ (1928) to this in 4 years @wychstreet.bsky.social
Thanks Don J! No joke, I watched this movie on TV between 2010-12. The ending stuck with me, and for years searched endlessly on the internet to no avail. I started watching it around the half, didn't know who acted, and the programming just said "El Fugitivo". Until today, what a movie indeed.
All basic stuff in military ops has been thrown away for sheer stupidity. After "M" was killed, all of them were gone. One complained to me about the lack of plastic bags, confessing his love for plastic at my check out station. Other told my manager he HAS AN OBLIGATION TO SPEAK FRENCH OR ENGLISH.
They sent young Americans to Colima, at least 2 weeks prior "El Mencho" was killed to step in if the Mexican Armed Forces failed. I didn't told you, because I had no way to verify it. They send the most American men they could find to a city which their presence, even as tourists, is super rare.
@wychstreet.bsky.social Will E. Coyote, attorney at law for Mr. Michael T. Mouse has issued a press release today denying any link between his client and Mexican Cartels. This after a bill was found along with others in the cabin where “El Mencho” was located and taken down a week ago in Western MX.
First, Iran is not an imminent threat to the United States or Israel. The regime is brutal and repressive, but not suicidal. History and intelligence bear this out. There is no reason to do this now.
I'm worried by John Oliver, Don Justino. His business daddy is going to kick him like Nixon in California.
He asking if everyone else was ok, as he was slipping into unconsciousness after being shot, it's heartbreaking and breathtaking. To be that self-aware even as you die, speaks volumes on how genuinely believed and cared on using his power in the service of others.
Well he is [TRUMP] too big to fail, isn't he, Sir?
@wychstreet.bsky.social Mr. Grillo moved from England to Mexico a quarter of century ago just to become a journalist and along Hector De Mauleon-Rodriguez one of the best in drug trafficking issues. He is a must if you want to understand the hell we are going through right now.
-where he was going to receive medical attention. Sicarios belonging to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel set road blockages on the nearby states of Jalisco, Michoacán and Guanajuato and blockages have been reported in the southern states of Campeche and Oaxaca.
-and currently waiting for further indications if we will open our Walmart tomorrow. Most gas stations in Colima City have closed, and only one belonging to BP was giving service. He was fatally wounded on the town of Tapalpa, two hours drive from where I live, and died en route to Mexico City-
@wychstreet.bsky.social Widespread panic and hysteria throughout Mexico following the death of “El Mencho”. Oxxo, one of the largest convenience store chain in Mexico has closed all its stores in the states of Colima, Jalisco and Michoacán. Walmart has closed all its stores in the state of Colima-
-thing they could do in these circumstances was to burn them all at the site. Local thugs did try to derail the train from Guadalajara to Colima once, but the conductor got wind of it and refused to go along until the track was repaired. It’s fascinating how Rulfo reimagined both events.
-are finally brought down by “Los Federales” after they derail a train in a ravine out of boredom. This was based on a real life incident. In 1916 a train from Guadalajara to Colima derailed on a ravine by the excess of passengers it was carrying. There was no way to recover the bodies and the best-
Also, they keep their headquarters near the place called “La Purificación”, most likely today “Villa Purificación” where “El Mencho” was based. Villa Purificación church, on of the oldest in Mexico (dating back to 1540s) was recently elevated to cathedral by Pope Leo. In the short tale, the thugs-
-his thugs, originally funded by the hacendados to protect themselves from the revolutionarios, became a force of their own, burning haciendas and terrorizing local communities when hacendados refuse to pay them, much like the CJNG does in the states of Jalisco, Colima, Guanajuato and Michoacán.
“The bitch has been killed, but the puppies remain” Corrido which Juan Rulfo chose to open his best short tale, The Burning Plain.
Another reason to read Juan Rulfo, is how he foresaw the appearance of Jalisco New Generation Cartel (he wrote this between 1945-1953) much before drug trafficking was an issue in Mexico. Rulfo would die in 1987, just as el Chapo was starting his career in drug trafficking. In the Burning Plain-
@wychstreet.bsky.social Last July, my best friend and I both agreed "El Mencho" wasn't going to turn himself over to US authorities or give the US government any information like the family of el Chapo. We agreed he would prefer to die fighting before being captured.
@wychstreet.bsky.social Armando Guzman, Mexican correspondent based in DC for several Mexican news outlets, has given a brief remembrance of Robert Duvall on the radio. He told he lead a no pretentious life in Middleburg, VA and like to organice tango afternoons with his Argentinian wife.
