Many years ago (1990s) I transcribed the 1821 census for Thornill, near Dewsbury. Think I found a copy of it in Dewsbury library local studies section, so local libraries for your area of interest may be another option to explore

I've just received a "Will not found" from the England & Wales GOV #Probate Registry. They tell me there is no probate date & probate wasn't issued, but the printed index has the date 22 Feb 1991. I've queried it but wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem? #GenHour

As a former resident of Macclesfield I was baffled as to the location of the church in your photo (described as "Church of St John the Baptist, Macclesfield") until I eventually realised you are referring to a church some 4 miles from Macclesfield, in the small town of Bollington.

Why would a 20mph limit not be needed once Covid receded? Surely there would be *more* traffic and therefore more dangerous to cross the road?
