Here's the first of probably periodic warnings to remind yourself that the "firehose of falsehoods" disinformation tactic is about to go into full swing. You do not need to watch the news to bear witness. You do not need to watch hideous videos of violence. They will be circulated to keep you upset

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

We had the kiddos in charge of warming kits so they are a little…eclectic in their contents. We put in
-2 pairs of socks
-hand/toe warmers
- knit hat
- knit gloves
- one speciality item (these were things we did not have a lot of. This year, it was a rain poncho, an emergency blanket, or a scarf)

Just a reminder that you have an ACTUAL SISTER WHO WOULD ALSO LIKE TO BE IN ON THINGS!

Dude! Kristy and I watched a (actually the only) lesbian Hallmark Christmas movie. That director was one of the two leads but I actually think I like her a lot better in this show.
