In case you missed it: For @theipaper.com I had a conversation with a SEND specialist teacher desperate to have their voice heard in a highly contentious and politically-charged policy area.
Not everyone will agree with this bold perspective, but have a read.

Great reporting from @aishadown.bsky.social on the giant holes in the gov's AI strategy. Or "strategy".

Yazd, in Iran.
A city of courtyards
An urban form that responds to harsh hot summers, and cold dry winters
I am 43 and loved it too at the time! I used to be in a youth marching band (yes they do exist in the Uk) and when we had a competition at Birmingham NIA we were so excited it was the Gladiators arena π€£
My five year old is loving it - but as a second child sheβs a fairly robust character π₯΄ (Yes she should be in bed but weβve no alarm tomorrow and weβve had a mad day - essential downtime for all of us!)
Except for Being Brave, which is still brilliant
This is the sort of detail Iβm here for
Watching Gladiators with the children, first proper watch for three decades.
Thought process:
1. I feel like going upstairs and listening to Menswe@r
2. Whatever happened to Wolf?
*Googles Wolf*
3. Wait, Wolf is older than my DAD?!
What?

Labour GAIN from Reform.
Changes w/ 2025.
Very well parsed
I gave up so quickly. It was the toe-curling wellness stuff that did it for me.
I have a feeling that if you never get a chance to explore big ideas at school or in media you are uniquely susceptible to falling for the first idea of any size that looks 'big'. And I have a feeling that a lot of people know this
ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. Sheβs married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.
Theyβve already sent her to Louisiana.
Consider it my recommendation ππ»
Thought youβd like it too
Pretend it's Australian and a song about flip-flops
My commiserations
Haven't read this yet but looks interesting so sharing for dissemination
Yes, I have a 7pm deadline again. Join me in a game of deadline roulette.
Am listening a spotify playlist called 'Women of the 90s'. Would recommend. I'm on Lisa Loeb now.
Also, that little bit of French in it is quite Eurotrash too.
Have @talk90stome.bsky.social added He's On The Phone by Saint Etienne to their playlist yet? Have decided today this is the quintessential track. Perfect mix of 90s club beat and indie schmindie π
Yes, me too. It sounds like it's from 1994 anyway.
One for you, I'd imagine @nndroid.bsky.social
Dunno if this is a deep cut or just odd, but the other one that does this for me is Does Train Stop on Merseyside? by Amsterdam.
Why, I have no idea. I have never lived on Merseyside.
(Although I did once spend quite a bit of time in a crap pub in Heaton Mersey).
That is true but underplays the role that very large WhatsApp community groups are playing in that radicalisation. It's more akin to the darkweb in that sense.
I think they're holding fire til close to the election, so as not to get caught up in the current wrangling. My working assumption is they will start to rise as Reform start to poll downwards. But I may be wrong.
Hate communism, love the Stasi.
I think a lot of women feel the same.
