some additional thoughts that i posted on the bad website. i actually think that william’s death is really the only adaptational choice that i think takes something away from the text. but thats a small thing in an otherwise fantastic film so πŸ‘πŸ‘

i absolutely agree that it is an adaptation of the mythos of frankenstein rather than a direct adaptation of the novel but like. in a VERY good way. gdt’s passion for the text is so clear but its coming through his creative eye and with his personal approach to the story so even choices that-
