What’s in the truck? Ready to head east to commit some opera.

And sometimes you do all of it.

I’m a union designer. I’m working on a show under a union project agreement. Union contracts support and enforce fought-for safeguards and needs.
Especially now, when labor is attacked directly by this administration, unions and labor are our best allies.

Never thought I’d be a fan of mirrorballs, but here we are.
And there it is. Those with disabilities and the poors of course are always the most affected.
But thats the whole point.

Remember, Guy Fawkes’ birthday is coming up. Make your birthday celebration plans ahead of time.
Fun show, playing with bears, a little revenge at the end. Programming grind.
Impressive. Via xcancel.com/The_x_Truth/...
It’s time to remove “shareholder” from the “business mindset” and replace it with what government was originally designed for - stakeholders.
"Postsecondary education should be a path to a well-paying career aligned with workforce need," = “Our goals are to silo Americans into shitty low paying jobs that drive shareholder dividends.”
Get armed. Stockpile. Train. Encourage others. Forcibly disarmed populations become squishy red smears quickly.

I’m putting together a talk / article on design, mythmaking, signs and signals, and the worldbuilding of propaganda, through the lens of design and history. If you’re interested in bringing this to a design class or to your university, let me know.
Wait, who *wasn’t* expecting this?
Let’s talk about Black History in our allied industries and celebrate it.

I mean, yes, but why are we expecting democrats to all of a sudden stop supporting capital, corporations, and oligarchies? We need a Labor party that supports privacy rights.
"...The people in my profession will grasp this before it’s too late, or they won’t...
Phil Christman, Chronicle of Higher Education
"... Finally, even the densest rich people want enough of these institutions to continue standing so that they have someplace to send their children. Practically speaking, that is how you make the Case for the Humanities in a way that preserves their presence on college campuses..."
"...Make sure the parents know too. Reach those donors and regents who seem like they might have souls. Then go on strike for a month. That, not “new efficiencies,” is what will save mass higher education, if anything does..."
"...When your upper administration invites McKinsey or Deloitte to come to campus and do their standard-issue “How to Ruin a College and Still Go Broke” slide show, tell them no. Tell the students what their administrators are doing and what these plans have done for other colleges (ruined them)..."
"So no, there is no point in making a Case for the Humanities to the people who are most excited about getting rid of them. What will work with these people, finally, is labor militancy...."
That looks great! I just bought a can for my 450.
