We were supposed to do big things this year, it was going to be amazing, but now she's too weak to do any of it and I'm watching her die, wondering how I'm going to manage to do these things without her.

There's nothing like going about your day and then being gut punched by the sudden wave of grief over the reminder that your best irl friend is dying of cancer.

I really wish people would stop posting things like, "The US is going to cease to be a defender of liberty if it does x" or "It will no longer be a beacon of hope", because what it tells me is that Indigenous genocide never mattered to you. It feels like it doesn't in fact.

I hate that my hand tremors have gotten worse, they shake so much now and then resting them on cold surfaces causes rapid pain in them.
It really messes with my job and art. Both I need steady hands and well, they're not steady.
I'm not winning here.
