I get yelled at for saying this but for many hundreds of years people went to university not to get diplomas or be employable but because immersion in the humanities was considered foundational to a good life, and school must return to its original purpose: the joy of learning.
We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.

I will never get used to the disdain our country holds for brown and Black children.
From Palestine to Iran to Sudan, we normalize the destruction of schools and hospitals and daycares. We reduce children to death tolls and their futures to rubble with no consequence or second thought.

A picture of art advice: Don't worry about whether your art is perfect. Instead, ask yourself this: Did you enjoy creating it? Does it feel meaningful? Does it please your inner goblin? Is it shiny, stinky, or sharp? Could you trade it for a rusty sword or some slightly used meat? Would it make good bait for a nasty trap? Something with a big spikes or a log that swings down and makes your enemy go squish? Did you learn something you can use to make your next artwork even better? That's how good artists become great.
Don't judge your art too harshly.

I was part of the mass exodus of writers from twitter but hadn't formally deleted my account until now.
So starting Jan 15th Twitter is adding to their terms AGAIN. The TLDR; You will no longer be able to opt-out of Grok or AI training. Having a Twitter account will automatically grant Twitter full license to anything you post and will be fed to AI training. Period. Not just AI scraping, but full-on.
