The San Saba and Llano Rivers are both rising rapidly and in flood from areas near Junction, Mason, Llano, and San Saba. While rain has ended for now, that water will move downstream, so please stay alert near rivers and creeks.
Wow. Lake Buchanan is within 5ft of being full and Lake Travis within 20. Might be the first time in the 30+ years I've seen both being this close to being full.
Trouble is once they are both full, the water has to be let all the way through. Too much water and there will be flooding in Austin.
