Glutes were locked. Could only manage a shuffle/run/walk. It was very hot, but the local community was there to support. Plenty of aid stations. Great experience overall π
The swim was amazing! The water was about 29c and crystal clear. Could see like little nemo fish! My swim was ahead of my prediction. The bike was strong until I got to the bridge (next year if I go, Iβll take it more conservatively) - was cooked after the first loop. Run was horrible.

Yea go for it! I completed a 5150 sprint race in Desaru in May. Currently training for 70.3 at Cebu 10th August.
