Same, ugh!
Same, ugh!
Damn...My favorite place for cheap pho and fried rice in Seattle has gone out of business. πππ
Saw a guy at the store wearing a sweatshirt that said, "I like my country like I like my tea -- filled with I.C.E." across a big American flag.
....Umm.....Really, dude????
(Yes, this was in Seattle!)
A brown eagle with a white and brown speckled chest perches in the winter branches of a tree.
Yesterday I got to see this eagle chilling in a tree. π
(Pic's not the greatest -- but it's the best I could get in the moment!)

In addition to the 28 day hunger strike that continues, there continues to be emergencies happening inside.
Poster stapled to a lamp post on "The Ave" in North Seattle features a picture of an Orca whale. Poster text reads: "This neighborhood is an ICE-free zone. We protect immigrants. Everyone is welcome here, except I.C.E."
Sign in my neighborhood in #udistrict #seattle . Fuck ICE.
Brb, outside sobbing rn from the powerful poems I just got to hear at Elliott Bay Books. Wowzers!

#Seattle friends... Today I stumbled across the #Ravenna Trollbooth entirely by accident... and OMG.. if you need a little moment, like just a tiny sliver of joy... in between all The Horrors... Do yourself a favor and check it out!!
Spent my day off work watching a documentary about taxidermy.
Ooh that's close to my house!
Agreed! Transit is the reason I've never even tried to go to Carkeek!
I swear I almost died at Golden Gardens last summer hiking up the trail to the bus stop for the 45. Yeah, the map makes it look close ... and it would be, if it was flat! Instead.. it's freaking treacherous. I'm surprised more transit riders havent passed out on that trail. 0/10, do not recommend.

It's got to incense them that any time someone searches for Jesse Singal's name or article, they'll get my fact check just under it.

Why did I wake up with the entire Rent soundtrack playing in my head?! Sheesh!
The iconic martial artist, actor, and former Seattle resident Bruce Lee broke barriers as an Asian leading man on the big screen. Now, the United States Postal Service is commemorating Lee with an honor that's small in size, but tremendous in significance: a Forever stamp.
Blue sky with visible sun and fluffy white clouds over the shore of Green Lake. Trees on green grass in the foreground along Green Lake Drive.
Snow & clouds this morning gave way to this! π Bit chilly but otherwise perfect for a little walk at Green Lake! #seattlewx #seattle #spring?
For those not local, Seattle Children's Theatre & Keiko Green took a massive financial hit to stand up for what's right and canceled Young Dragon's run at the Kennedy Center.
If you're in the PNW, help them out & grab a full priced ticket. And if you program theatre, maybe check out the script.
Hate to even be thinking this, because, HELL NO, but...um... would Trump be able to buy the Seahawks?!
