100% agree, frankly "unfocused tab" would be near the bottom of my list for intermittent issues with viewer counts - though I sadly don't have enough sample data to really make a properly educated guess (my suspects would be more in the realm of bugs with concurrent stream limits or even extensions)

I get irritated at "ai agents" (gen-ai helpdesk specifically), I sure as hell don't want to deal with their underpowered cousins in my games. (haven't read the article... just find the topic ridiculous)

I do find it funny to see what kind of people block me/add me to lists - literally the only negative list I'm on is a bit of a badge of honor though (it's a list called "haters" that is full of LGBTQ+ folks and allies who spoke out against an alt-right game dev who went full grumm/asmond)

It's cool to be a fan, but a single creator shouldn't be the subject of 90% of your online interactions (this goes for hate-watchers too)
No One said they were irresponsible (in fact I explicitly stated it was their content strategy, which is the exact opposite)
It is however irresponsible to conflate demonstrating good mechanics and giving proper critique with "just talking about what they like" - it's a chasm of difference.

My job is to review games, BUT I also understand my reach gives me a responsibility to my community - do I want to spend my limited time tearing down a bad actor and giving them "hate sales", or do I want to spend my time showing off good/interesting mechanics and giving critique for improvement.
That said, I don't begrudge other people covering bad games, it has its place, and it is important to call out unethical devs - and I have done the latter on games I have covered because I can say "they did this good thing, but" (none of the dighom games passed this litmus test for me)
Guarantee their coverage of the crap games (and even the subsequent legal issues) actually gave digital homicide more sales (and it would be worse nowadays) - doubly true because Sterling was known for covering 'bad games' at the time.
All that hurt in the long run, was the final shutdown by Valve.

I generally follow the rule of "If I can't mention a redeeming quality, then I don't mention the title" - This is because even giving it air time, gives it attention, and probably sales.
And pretty much, ai-slop negates redeeming qualities.
These aren't so much the cards that 'represent me', but rather what shaped my expectations and experiences playing the game (some honorable mentions: Labyrinth Minotaur, Mesa Pegasus, Lure, Jangling Automaton, Coat of Arms, Venom, etc.)
Okay - question - how do you re-seal bagged food?
I'm a bit neurotic about it (I fold mine over in wedges and crease it while using a clip - to the point that it makes it water tight), since the goal is to keep air/bacteria/mold OUT, not just keep food in.

Why have I not heard about this before? Creative Mode and Dungeoneering mode sound like they have a real "Mario Maker" approach (the campaign mode seems neat too - but depending on level of flexibility the other two modes could possibly hit above their weight)
Instead of "this meeting could have been an email" - "this game could have been single player" and "this game could have been peer to peer"
99% of the time Live service just feels like maximizing inconvenience and cost for a 1% shot at getting whales for 6 months before the servers shut down.

GameDev groups are wild... I'm in a few and they all are this weird mix of actual game devs asking for marketing advice, gameplay feedback, etc. and the most unhinged shit you've ever seen (seriously, just scrolled past someone asking how they can they can get literal porn to be M instead of AO)
If memory serves, even Team Rocket would be weirded out by the alt-right (kind of in the same vein as The Joker's response to Red Skull)
Some advice for new devs:
I can't "review" your game if I don't have access to it. (most use partner.steamgames.com/doc/features... - "beta package keys" to access the latest release candidate)
Demos cannot be used to accurately review the full game.
Contact early, not the day before/of release.
I'd sooner trust the baron at this point... the bar is that low.
We should be judging everyone that commits war crimes...
I thought the series had died... the originals were dumb, but this smells like the target audience is 40 year old teenagers who are stuck somewhere between Asmongold streams and a Joe Rogan fan subreddit
