Coton Morris dancing a stick dance (a mixed Morris side all in whites with black waistcoats)
That was a cold one, but Mill Road Winter Fair in Cambridge is always worth it!
Especially for the person who asked us what we call the sticks (spoiler alert - we call them the sticks).
Old man in black jacket and white trousers plays tabor and pipe for some out of shot Morris dancers.
Thank you Neil for the photo. Fingers didn't fall off, but It was fairly nippy! @cotonmorris.bsky.social

Happy to see some of our more distant members at practice last night. 3910 miles is a long way to come for a 90 minute practice, but we admire their dedication!
We are Coton Morris - a mixed Cotswold Morris side based just ouside Cambridge. We practice at 7:30 on a Thusrday night in Milton Community Centre if you fancy giving this a go.
